'Public apology for my having said Richard lied on the Jan. 28th Deep State Zoom'
January 29, 2026
Richard Gage called today and we agree that I need to clarify something very important that I wasn’t able to do on yesterday’s 9/11 and Other Deep State Crimes Zoom, and because context matters.
On the Zoom I mentioned that in the Sept. 10th meeting in Senator Johnson’s conference room the Senator stated that ‘You’, gesturing to those of us around the table from the 9/11 Truth Movement including Richard and myself, ‘need to form your own Commission’ and give him the Report ‘tied up in a bow’ that he would then review. He said this more than once and he repeated the same words in his address to the ‘Turning the Tide’ Conference the next day on the 11th where I was sitting only a few feet from Richard in the audience.
Not long afterwards Richard told me that a newly formed group he was a member of had discussed this and that on behalf of the group he would be e-mailing Senator Johnson asking what importance he placed on his public recommendation that there be a Movement-led 9/11-Commission-style inquiry. I reminded Richard of what Senator Johnson had said in the meeting in his conference room and was taken aback when he said that the Senator hadn’t said that ‘your group’ should form its own Commission-style inquiry.
In subsequent conversations we went over the same ground with my insisting that Senator Johnson had indeed stated that, and Richard repeating that he didn’t remember him having done so. As Richard is an impeccably honest person and the Senator had used the same language in his address to the D.C. Conference the next day carried on livestream and recorded on video, I assumed there was some reason he was saying this and that in time he’d let me now what that was. So when I said on the Jan. 28th 9/11 and Deep State Zoom that Richard had lied to me, what I meant, and should have said, was that I believed that, for some reason I might later learn, he didn’t want to admit what the Senator had said.
I still believed this when Richard called me today, the day after that Jan. 28th Zoom, when I learned that he had publicly shared with the 9/11 WarRoom, which I wasn’t able to be on, just three days before what Senator Johnson had recently told him on the phone when the Senator finally called back after a month of Richard’s having sent him e-mails asking for clarification regarding the Senator’s recommendation to ‘form your own 9/11-style Commission’.
As it happened, I knew about the Senator’s call with Richard as he had called me shortly afterwards, and I’d wanted to give that wider context on the 9/11 and Deep State Zoom yesterday but wasn’t able to as our call had been private and I wasn’t aware he had just publicly shared what had happened on the Johnson call with the 9/11 War Room. This important wider context is: that Richard had told Senator Johnson that a 9/11-Commission-style public inquiry would be impractical given that some groups within the Movement don’t agree on the issues and evidence; that the group Richard is a member of does not represent the wider 9/11 Truth Movement but only the architects & engineers associated with RichardGage911, the firefighters associated with Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, the International Center for 9/11 Studies, and victim’s family members associated with those groups; that the Senator had told Richard that he understood and that “You decide what evidence you want in your report, and who you want to get it from”; and that the group Richard is a member of will be providing Senator Johnson with a report on what they determine to be the irrefutable evidence that he has asked for.
After the call with Richard today, though I still wonder how it could be, I now believe that he genuinely didn’t hear or remember what Senator Johnson said in his office and in his presentation at the D.C. Conference and I’ve apologized to Richard – as I also do here – for having said on the Zoom that he had lied to me, as I now understand this was not the case.

Hi Barbara, I understand your clarification of the record. What you are saying is that you heard Senator Johnson invite the "truth movement" representatives in a meeting in his office to advance a citizens' commission, compile irrefutable evidence from it, and present it to his office for consideration at a hearing. What Richard heard is a message that he took to mean he and others he is in alignment with, compile evidence and present it to the Senator, understanding that Richard does not have a monopoly on 9/11 truth, and that there are other perspectives.
Richard is not an advocate for a Citizen's Tribunal, but is advancing his and others ideas about what is important. You heard Senator Johnson say, 'you citizens, go investigate, make a case, and bring it to him'. Richard didn't hear this, he says. We know we all experience selective hearing, so this may explain that Richard didn't hear what you heard.
